When you're stuck, locked out, broken down or in trouble, the last thing you need is friction. Thankfully, you can find Discovery 911 directly beneath the Log in button on your Discovery Bank app home screen. You don't even need to log in or search for contact details!
Simply tap Discovery 911 , select which service you require and a consultant will call you back. No automated menus. No repeating yourself. No wasted minutes.
Who can use Discovery 911?
To access Discovery 911, you'll need to:
- be an eligible Discovery Bank client with accounts in good standing
- have at least R1,000 available in a non-savings account
What's covered under Discovery 911?
Roadside assistance
- Jump starts (excluding parts)
- Flat tyre changes
- Vehicle unlock assistance
Limit: 2 incidents per client per year
Home assistance
- Plumbing, electrical and locksmith emergencies
- External door lockouts
- Call-out plus 1 hour of labour included
Limit: 3 incidents per year, up to R3,000 total (including outbuildings)
Medical emergency support
- National ambulance dispatch
- International medical emergency assistance
Limit: No limit on requests
Costs are covered by your medical aid or billed to you
Before you tap - a few things to know
- Discovery 911 is available only via the Discovery Bank app, not the website.
- It's not available to secondary cardholders or savings-only clients.
- If you're not a Discovery Insure client or have reached your limits, fees may apply - you'll always be informed beforehand.
- International medical emergency cover applies to qualifying Discovery Health Medical Scheme plans (KeyCare plans excluded).
- Your location and personal details may be shared with service providers to help them reach you faster.
