Vitality Drive

Vitality Drive is Discovery Insure's driver behaviour programme that rewards you for driving safely. The next evolution of Vitality Drive is all about unlocking a more connected ecosystem, making it easier for clients to earn across an integrated rewards platform. Vitality Drive now gives drivers up to 65% back on fuel spend, paid instantly. Discovery Insure, Discovery Bank and Ðiscovery Miles now work as one rewards ecosystem, so you earn more, more often, and see your reward the moment you pay.

How Vitality Drive works

You earn Vitality Drive points every month based on how safely you drive. Once you have joined Vitality Drive, getting your rewards is easy. The more points you earn the greater your rewards.

Enhanced fuel rewards

  1. Drive safely. Maintain and improve your Vitality Drive status.
  2. Tap your qualifying Discovery Bank virtual card. Pay with your virtual card when buying fuel at bp or Shell or Gautrain spend.
  3. Get up to 65% back. Fuel rewards are paid in near real-time in your Ðiscovery Miles account, or within 24 hours into your Insure Funder Account.

Earn up to 50% back through Vitality Drive and up to 15% through Vitality Money. You earn your fuel reward percentage on your qualifying spend, up to a monthly spend cap of up to R3000.

Choose how you are paid. Get your reward in Ðiscovery Miles or have your Vitality Drive fuel reward doubled and paid into your Insure Funder Account.

Good to know. Pay with a qualifying Discovery Bank virtual card to qualify for full rewards. Physical card spend is capped at Vitality Drive Bronze percentages. Fuel purchases at bp and Shell qualify, as does Gautrain spend. A fuel transaction at bp or Shell must be at least R75. Your monthly spend threshold depends on your Vitality Drive status and on having at least R300,000 in buildings or household contents cover.

 

PerfectDrive rewards

Earn Ðiscovery Miles instantly after every event-free trip longer than 5 km. PerfectDrive rewards are an added reward on top of your other Vitality Drive rewards.

  1. Earn a minimum 20 Ðiscovery Miles per qualifying trip
  2. 1 Ðiscovery Mile per km on trips over 20 km
  3. Up to 100 Ðiscovery Miles a day

To qualify you need to be a Discovery Bank client with Vitality Money, on an Essential, Classic or Purple Plan, with a smartphone-enabled telematics device. You also need to have completed your Tiger Wheel & Tyre Annual MultiPoint check.

Vitality Active Rewards now uses a smarter goal algorithm, keeping your weekly goals achievable, so you stay motivated and keep earning.
